I do not want the details of how it works, as others have already done a good job to go. I am using this for a few years with my iPod Classic and iPhone 3G. It worked pretty well, but there were moments, if not the iPod / iPhone remote control, to separate me and once again, the iPod cable, it would work again forced to respond. I would have rated 5 stars for the idea, but only 2 to run. Since I spend my iPhone 4, which now operates at 100% of the time. II do not know if the phone or iOS4, but now I would rate it 5 stars for execution.
Directions for use: I do not use the connection with the steering wheel remote control. Instead, I put the remote on my shot to reach easily with Velcro. I think it's less intrusive and easier than when using the steering wheel. It 'also very subtle Remember, most people do not. I use a RAM mount to hold the iPhone.
Unfortunately it seems that Kensington stoppedSales of these demands and as a retailer Amazon is still with them a lot now. I found them elsewhere for much less and bought a pair for later use.
