Before you purchase different items, I will take the time to read reviews. In this case, I almost passed up this great little CD player! The reviews for this product have been terrible for people who claim to twang and poor shelf life (many of them to work all stopped to say a month). Well, I do not know how other people have been treated in this product, but I did it for a few months and have had no problems occurred. The sound is great. It 'easy to use. It isa compact and clean. And if you read the reviews of Bose products, people have many symptoms, such as problems with the installation CD --- and these people have paid for many, many times the cost of this unit Memorex. I was not disappointed in the performance of this at all and would really recommend it to others.
